These are user guides to help with the use of the site. People who are familiar with this type of website will probably pick most bits up as they go along but for those less familiar with the likes of Facebook these provide a fairly simple introduction on how to use different facilities.
The guides have not been updated to reflect a number of changes that have taken place on the site so all the screen shots are no longer correct - updating these will take a while but hopefully the current ones will provide some level of support.
If anyone has problems with a particular area of the site please complete one of the contact forms. This will help determine the priority for different guides.
Lastly when you click on one of the guide links the guide will open, as a PDF document, in a separate tab or window so you should be able to have the guide open while you work your way through. If you don't know the term PDF or the document won't open please complete the contact form.
For those who prefer their user guides as short videos you can now link to a guide on YouTube and follow Mowse as he/she registers on the site and starts to use the different facilities.
This area holds links to a variety of web sites with information that may be of interest to alumni from the College. As ever because these are external links the RHC70s site has no control over them and you venture forth on your own.
If you'd like to add a site to the list then click on the "Submit a web link" button. Be sure to put it in the "RHC related general interest" category. This option will only appear in the menu if you are a registered alumni and logged in to the site. Submitted sites should be of direct relevance to RHC and its history or about a particular alumnus or alumna. Links that are judged to be too tenuous, too promotional or too boring will not be included.
If you visit one of the sites and want to question the link then please use the contact form.
John Holden has provided PDF versions of a number of copies of Chateau from the period between 1971 and 1975. The list below shows the issue number and publication date of them.
If you click on the link the file will open in a new window (or tab). The files are quite large (typically 3-5Mb) so best to access over a broadband link rather than your mobile phone.
Some of these copies overlap with those in the other Chateau sections but the different technology makes it worth providing both copies to suit different access techniques.
A category to collect links to recordings of 70s music.
There is a guide to help you submit your links that you can access via the menu.
After a link has been submitted it will appear on this list but won't be usable until it's been approved. If you come accross a duff link it is most likely to be for this reason and should get rectified - so do come back and try again.
